Privacy policy

I’m Matt Rowlands. I run Your Mate Agency, a sole trader business in Mallacoota, Victoria. ABN 37 179 872 328. This page explains what information I collect, why, and what I do with it.

What I collect

Contact form. If you fill out the contact form I get your name, your email and whatever you write in the message. I use it to reply to you. Nothing else.

Analytics. This site uses Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. It is cookieless and collects no personal information. I can see aggregate numbers like page views and where visitors come from, but not who you are.

Bookings. If you book a call, your name, email and the time you picked go into my Google Calendar so the meeting can happen.

Google user data

Some of my client work uses Google APIs, including Google Search Console, Google Business Profile and Google Ads. If you are a client and you grant me access to those accounts, I use that data for one purpose. Providing the reporting and marketing services you hired me for.

I do not sell that data. I do not share it with third parties. I do not use it for advertising. Nobody other than me reads it unless you ask me to share it or the law requires it.

My use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How long I keep it

Only as long as needed. Enquiries stay while the conversation is live. Client data stays for the length of our work together, plus whatever Australian tax and business record rules require. When an engagement ends, I remove my access to your Google accounts.
